Dexter and Lumen are distracted from their mission by a visitor. A new investigation, that of the Barrel Girl, is sparked in Miami, and Deb, freshly reassigned to the file room, digs up novel evidence.

When Dexter roughs up Barry, he hits him on his left side saying he hit him on his liver, the liver is mainly on the right side of the body, partially protected by the rib cage. On the left you get the spleen, pancreas and stomach.
